Llandudno is probably a place everyone from Liverpool has visited time and time again, due to the local beauty it brings to us. For me, it is the perfect seaside town. When you can smell the seaweed, you know you’re at a proper seaside.

Located in beautiful North Wales, roughly an hour and a half drive from Liverpool, it is the perfect day out to spend with the family. I fortunately visited Llandudno, twice in one week! The first time with my Mum, Dad and baby for my Dads Birthday and second time just my little family – Rich, myself, our baby boy and dog. Both times, we done the exact same thing.

Llandudno has such a clean and clear coastline, I love a rocky beach, I always think they feel cleaner, and they are never overcrowded because laying on a beach towel on rocks isn’t exactly comfy. For me, it is just super calming to watch. Whenever we visit, we stroll along the promenade, get an ice cream or fish and chips when we feel brave enough with the seagulls. And then head over to the pier – but it does get ridiculously busy here.

This was the first place we had visited after all of the chaos of Covid where I have felt like there are too many people too close together – something that would never have bothered me before – but in the same breath, seeing the sheer amount of families spending time together was heart-warming.
Walking through the town centre just screams all of the childhood memories, having spent so much time here as a child. The shops seem to never have changed, it all seems to have aged gracefully, like Llandudno is almost stuck in the past – but I love it for that – all of the traditional cafes, tourist shops, book shops and beach shops.

Our next adventure to Llandudno, we plan on taking us all up the Great Orme, trying the cable cars, the Welsh Mountain Zoo, a little paddle in the Lido and maybe venturing over towards Conwy. North Wales offers so much!
