Dunham Massey, located between Manchester and Cheshire, is a beautiful day out, especially if you enjoy nature, architecture, wildlife and walking.

It’s a perfect place to visit all year round and I imagine it looks picturesque in every season. The main feature is the Georgian House, which is surrounded by parks and gardens for you to wander.

The unique attraction at Dunham Massey is the resident herd of deers. You can see these mesmerising creatures down the walk way through the deer park.

If you plan a full day out here, you can stop by the Stables restaurant for some local Cheshire produce, or just have a snack and hot beverage to accompany you on your adventure from the cafe or ice cream parlour.

Entry into Dunham Massey is free for all National Trust members, or £8 for adults and £4 for children – parking is also free! Hurrah! Due to the popularity of the attraction, it is definitely recommended to book prior to your visit.
Dogs are also allowed entry into Dunham Massey, as long as they are kept on a short lead. It’s a great place for your dog to have some mental and physical stimulation.
